Although Torii started out as Domenico Mangione's solo project, the band has grown out to be much more than that. Early 2015, borrowing it's rhythm section from Voorschoten garage rockers
The Mighty Breaks, the band started to work on Domenico's crudely drawn sketches. Leaning heavily on Olivier Schiphorst's
motorik drums and Joris D. Zuiddam's lazy bass riffs, the songs started to take shape.
