Amsterdam based rock / grunge / punk trio Bad Penny started out super DIY; with more attitude than experience & then just see how far they can go. They haven’t lost the attitude, but definitely gained more experience which resulted in the slightly more polished punk on their upcoming EP ‘Glitter Guitar’.

Glitter Guitar is about desiring something of which you know it will never happen. Getting close, but never really there.

K.Y.S. is an accumulation of unpleasant memories of awful people in a song, which turned to work itself out in the best way possible.

So Pretty is about admitting your mistakes. In relationships but also in other situations.

Reef Break is about realizing you are stuck in a loop and that you deserve better. That it’s time to try to break out of it, no matter the risks.
