After the two EPs Bijgeloof in De Lage Landen and Op Onbevaren Wateren, Dorpsstraat 3 is now back with Staal op Staal, the long awaited debut album. Recorded in their own studio, the gritty
drumcomputers and reverb saturated synths present in their previous work are also the base for this new album, but they broaden their horizons and push their sound further.
The stories of Staal op Staal are about the people in a fictional factory village that is on its last legs. Introverted people withdrawn in their own houses, artists on the brink of madness
and the last people that do still earn an income in this town.
